CHENNAI: FIITJEE is taking up a social initiative to help deserving students from economically weaker sections of society get admission to the IITs through FORTUNATE-40, with The Hindu Education Plus as media partners.
The exam will be held on November 15 in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. The programme is open to students currently studying in Class VIII and X and who are aiming at taking the IIT-JEE in 2014 and 2012 respectively.
According to a release, the FORTUNATE-40 programme would award 100 per cent scholarship on the course as well as tuition fee.
